Task at Hand
Riverview Apartments is a large housing scheme. The two-phase project, launched in 2008, aims to offer more than 3,000 flats designed and implemented to the highest quality.
The requirement was to supply products from a full-solution provider able to ensure the complete integrity and protection of the structure. KingKrete achieved this goal in a timely manner, ensuring all supplied products were fully compatible with each other in a cost-efficient way without affecting quality.
KingKrete Solution
Used as a release agent for the formwork, maintaining concrete strength while improving surface finish.
For high-quality concrete: an SNF high-range water reducer and a polycarboxylic hyperplasticiser, used together to enhance concrete cohesion and overcome congestion in steel reinforcement.
Serving an area near the Gomti river bank, the project required a special anchor grout highly resistant to moist conditions. This high-strength, fast-curing polyester grout was used for anchoring starters, dowels, and bars.
Used as a general-purpose acrylic sealant for pane and frame joints.
