Overview
KingFinish GY25 is an interior grade, ready to use smooth finishing and putty plaster for all common construction substrates including concrete surfaces, cementitious plaster, gypsum and plaster boards. The unique composition of KingFinish GY25 makes it ideally suitable to provide an even and smooth surface ready for final paint application, filling hairline cracks as well as filling and finishing over gypsum and cement boards joints.
Applications
- KingFinish GY25 is designed for use internally in the following applications:
- Fairing and smoothing concrete, cementitious plaster, wood, gypsum and plaster boards prior to applying finishing coats
- Filling hairline cracks in walls and ceiling as well as the minor damage in plaster work and nail holes in substrates
- Filling and levelling over gypsum and cement boards joints, fasteners and trim

| VOC | : ≤ 10 g/ltr (Complies with LEED) For filling the joints between gypsum and cement board, cover the joint with KingFinish GY25 using a proper stainless steel putty knife and then embed paper tape or glass fiber mesh while KingFinish GY25 is still wet. Allow drying then apply another layer of KingFinish GY25 over the joint and leave it to dry prior to sanding with fine sandpaper. If needed further coats can be applied to fill the joints completely, consider the drying time between each coat. | ASTM D2369 |
