Task at Hand

Mahatma Mandir Exhibition Centre and Memorial is one of the biggest convention centres in India. With unique column-free convention halls accommodating 15,000 people at a time, and a spectacular memorial consisting of a dome-shaped museum and a remarkable suspended bridge, this 140,000 m² project represented a serious challenge for the contractor in concrete works.

KingKrete Solution

KingMix 711PC

To overcome congestion in steel reinforcement and enhance the flowability of the concrete mixture, KingKrete supplied its polycarboxylic-based hyperplasticiser — specially designed to make the water content work more effectively in the mix and help produce high-strength, self-consolidating concrete.

KingForm 100S

To obtain a high finish for the poured concrete and minimise surface repair, KingForm 100S was supplied for formwork maintenance. It highly improves finish and fair-faced concrete quality, minimises formwork cleaning, and extends its usable life.
